The beat of Gay UK in Sheffield

The Gaydio Dance Arena comes to Sheffield Pride for the 1st time. After being phenomenally successful in Manchester. Sheffield plays host to Gaydio first Dance arena of 2014.

Featuring some of the UK's best DJ's from the scene, The Gaydio Dance Arena is that place to be for those who like to jump around and party!

Our Biggest Yet.

Think noise, think colours, think celebration, think positive impact. As with the main event on Devonshire Green, the parade is your opportunity to show your colours, as participants are encouraged to come sporting the colour of the LGBT rainbow that best represents them.

  • NO MORE HATE – Red represents braking down prejudice
  • INCLUSIVITY – Orange promotes everyone together as one
  • CELEBRATION – Yellow symbolizes our achievements
  • LGBT YOUTH – Green is supporting the future LGBT communities
  • FREEDOM – Blue denotes being who you want to be
  • TRANS – Purple signifies life without restrictions

This year the route has been extended, the parade will now start at Tudor Square and proceed towards Devonshire Green via Surrey Street, Barkers Pool & Division Street.

The parade is completely free to take part in and we would encourage all individuals, groups, local businesses and organisations to join and show their support to Sheffield’s brilliant LGBT community.

Participants are asked to gather at Tudor Square at 1pm, ready for the parade to start at 1pm. Bring your friends, bring your families, bring your flags, whistles, and air horns. Let's give Sheffield the biggest, loudest and most colorful parade yet!

What does Pride mean to you

Our Community?!

There are a large number of organisations working across the city promoting and supporting the LGBT Community. It's thanks to this Sheffield can call itself one of the most safest and welcoming cities in the UK.

Check out some of the videos from last year's Sheffield Pride Parade which saw over 5000 people from our community come together to celebrate equal marriage legislation.
